I've had a lot of good news lately. Two of my works have been chosen as finalists in two separate art competitions! The first is my self portrait:
This painting has been accepted into Olivet University's art exhibition "Expanding Boarders". This is their 1st Annual Regional Juried Exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the Brandenburg and Strickler Galleries on the campus of Olivet Nazarene University. The opening reception is Friday, October 3, 2014 from 7-9pm. Feel free to stop by and say hello!
Shortly after learning about being a finalist in Olivet's exhibition, I was notified that my painting "The Fall" was accepted as a finalist in the Richeson 75 International Art Competition!
The Richeson 75 competition is held at the Jack Richeson & Co. Inc. gallery in Kimberly Wisconsin. The artist reception is on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 5pm. I will be attending this reception as well, so if you are in the area, drop in for what promises to be an amazing show!
I am so honored to be a part of both competitions. There are so many wonderfully talented artists out there that I very much appreciate having my work shown side by side with them. I can't wait!
